Step by Step

The Getzen Group Wealth Planning Process consists of the following six steps:

 1. Establishing the scope of our relationship.

A Getzen Group Inc Investment Advisor Representative (CFP®) will clearly explain the services we provide and help define our various responsibilities. We explain fully how we are paid and by whom. We will agree on how long our professional relationship should last and on how decisions will be made in our partnership.

 2. Gathering client information and establishing goals.

We understand the importance of good stewardship and promise to safeguard any financial information you provide to us for the purpose of advising you effectively.  We will help you define your financial goals and wealth objectives and establish time frame for results.  We will discuss your feelings about risk and help you gather necessary information or documents tab will enable us to deliver the quality advice you are seeking.

3. Analyzing and evaluating your current financial position.

The Getzen Group will analyze your information to assess your current financial position and determine what  must be done  to meet your wealth objectives.  Developing a quality wealth plan often requires analyzing your assets, liabilities and cash flow, current insurance coverage, investments, retirement plans,  tax and estate planning strategies. Our Wealth Plan allows both parties to see clearly your current overall situation and where you stand in relationship to your objectives, from there we can create a clear path forward.

4. Developing and presenting a Wealth Plan, recommendations or alternatives.

A quality Wealth Plan requires advice that address your goals, based on the information you provide and your life stage.  We will go over our recommendations with you to make sure you understand them so you can make informed decisions. We promise to listen to your concerns and revise any recommendations as appropriate.

5. Implementing the financial planning recommendations.

As a team we will discuss and agree upon the recommendations that will be carried out. Our Investment Advisor (CFP®) will serve you as your personal “CFO,” Chief Financial Officer with integrity, coordinating the entire process with you and other professionals, such as legal or tax advisors, as needed.

6. Monitoring your Wealth Plan and recommendations.

We will monitor your plan and track your progress toward your wealth goals and objectives. We will report on your accounts quarterly, and we will set a schedule for periodic review of your situation and adjust the plan, as needed, as your life changes.

The Getzen Group has established the following quarterly review schedule to help monitor our client’s progress of their goals;

1st Quarter  Wealth Plan review:  update important information, review progress in relation to your original goals and adjust as required.
